DevOps engineering leader building secure AI and cloud infrastructure for breakthrough science.
I've spent more than fifteen years in IT, starting on Mount Sinai's surgical care floors, moving through enterprise clinical systems, and landing in the cloud where I now lead DevOps engineering for a drug discovery biotech.
Today I lead the team behind Eikon's platform and AI infrastructure. I built our on prem LLM serving platform, which gives engineers and scientists access to models on research data that never leaves our network, and I designed the secure agent runtime that lets AI agents run on top of it.
My focus now is turning AI governance into controls the infrastructure enforces, not just policies people are asked to follow. I map principles from ISO 42001 and the NIST AI Risk Management Framework to technical controls such as approved and scanned agents, explicit access boundaries, logged model calls and agent handoffs, and the ability to revoke or stop any agent immediately.
I also care about what doesn't show up on dashboards, like the people I work with, the psychological safety that lets them ship with confidence, and the strategic calls made three quarters before anyone notices they were made.
Leading the DevOps and platform team at a biotech that's applying super resolution microscopy and machine learning to drug discovery, and owning the AI platform that engineers and scientists build on.
Led the DevOps function across CI/CD, cloud, high performance computing, and secrets management for engineering and research teams.
Joined as founding DevOps hire. Helped to establish infrastructure patterns that scaled into a full engineering practice. Built a self service Windows imaging pipeline that cut microscope system provisioning from as long as two weeks to 30 minutes.
Moved from application specialization into systems work for San Diego's largest integrated health network. Automated Splunk OpenTelemetry Collector rollout, updates, and rollback across our data centers, and cut a recurring job from 3 hours to 20 minutes by running its tasks concurrently.
Supported and extended the Epic electronic health record platform across Scripps' hospitals and clinics. Assisted in designing the HL7 integration between the perinatal monitoring system and Epic across four hospitals and fourteen clinics, and built a Python data pipeline during a company wide cyber incident that saved roughly a quarter million dollars in a single month.
Graduated into senior analyst responsibilities and served as technical lead for new implementations, guiding six junior analysts and owning project plans, architecture diagrams, and testing before go live across one of New York's flagship academic medical centers.
First role in enterprise application support, the foundation years of learning how large healthcare systems actually run.
End user support for a New York tourism operator. Fast paced, high visibility, customer facing technology.
Where it began. A reminder that every system I now architect is, somewhere at the end of it, supporting real people.
Fifteen certifications across Kubernetes, cloud, infrastructure as code, and foundational IT, each listed with its current status.
